Watch: Late-Night Host Stephen Colbert Says AMERICA Is a ‘S***hole’ Nation — Media Silent

Trump derangement syndrome is strong with late night host Stephen Colbert.

He’s so far gone (and so far left) that he can no longer see straight.

Following President Trump’s alleged remarks referring to Haiti and African nations as ‘s***hole countries,’ Colbert took to the air to bloviate to his uninformed audience.

Colbert explained: Other countries are not ‘s***holes,’ America is the ‘s***hole’ – and it’s all because of Donald Trump.

From The Week:

“All week long, President Trump has tried desperately to convince us that he is a stable, steady leader,” Stephen Colbert said on Thursday’s Late Show. “It was a nice act, but like many men his age, he can only keep it up for so long. Today he returned to the same unstable, reactionary president we’ve come to know and… know.” He began with Trump’s vulgar comments about Haiti, El Salvador, and African nations. “Sir, they’re not ‘shithole countries,'” Colbert said. “For one, Donald Trump isn’t their president.”

“But that wasn’t the only packet of international crazy sauce he squirted out today,” Colbert noted, mentioning Trump’s statement that he “probably” has “a very good relationship” with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. “Probably? That is definitely terrifying,” he said. “How do you not know if you have a relationship with someone?” Trump also claimed he knows “more about wedges than any human being that’s lived,” and Colbert found that plausible “Oh sir, you are a wedge,” he said, pausing, “the simplest of tools.”

From Daily Wire:

Colbert should ask expatriate North Koreans whether their country of origin is a s***hole. Or expatriate Cubans. Or expatriate Sudanese or expatriate Iranians or expatriate Haitians. There are indeed crappy countries. That’s why such wonderful people flee them. And the United States is not among those countries. If it were, Colbert wouldn’t live here. He has the cash to move elsewhere.

This is how the Left blows up its own talking point. Instead of focusing on the real problem with Trump’s statement – that he seems to be judging the quality of immigrants based on the quality of the country from which they spring, which is foolish – Colbert and the Left have jumped on the idea that we’re not allowed to say that some countries are worse than others. That’s plainly idiotic.

Obviously, Colbert has no leg to stand on and he knows it. He’s simply resorting to emotion over facts – a typical leftist tactic.

People from other nations want more than anything to come to America, not to African nations.

More on Colbert, who is set to film live after Trump’s January 30 State of the Union address – per Los Angeles Times:

For the first time in nearly a year, Stephen Colbert will host a live episode of “The Late Show,” following President Trump’s State of the Union address on Jan. 30, CBS has announced.

Guests that night will include Tommy Vietor, Jon Lovett and Jon Favreau, hosts of the political podcast “Pod Save America,” who will no doubt provide their thoughts on Trump’s first official State of the Union.
